Inside Boeing Flight Test

Who helps ensure that the products and services Boeing delivers to its customers work exactly as promised? The Boeing Test & Evaluation team.

It's a busy time at BT&E, whose many responsibilities include the test and evaluation of new Boeing aircraft, and modification and upgrades to existing products. Right now, BT&E has as many as 35 different flight test programs ongoing at Boeing. These programs cover not only completed aircraft ready to be delivered to customers, but also new products that will be brought into service soon, such as the 787 Dreamliner, the 747-8 Freighter and the P-8A Poseidon.

With all this work going on, it takes a tremendous amount of focus and coordination from all 7,200 BT&E teammates to get the job done. This video offers a glimpse at what makes BT&E an exciting place to be at Boeing.
