FARNBOROUGH, United Kingdom, July 18, 2010 – Captains Mike Bryan (from left) and Ted Grady, who piloted the first 787 to land outside of the United States, join Jim Albaugh, president and CEO of Boeing [NYSE:BA] Commercial Airplanes, and Jim McNerney, chairman of the board and CEO of The Boeing Company, in welcoming dignitaries and media aboard the airplane.
Last week the global aviation industry gathered in the United Kingdom for the biennial Farnborough International Airshow, which was highlighted by the international debut of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. We provided coverage of events throughout that week at www.boeing.com/farnborough2010. We invite you to check out our stories there which, in addition to many about 787, include messages from our business leaders, a look at our unmanned systems strategy, and impressions of the event from our air show newbie.
