Oxygen masks deploy inside ZA003, the third 787 Dreamliner, during a test of the airplane's emergency oxygen system.

Unmasking the 787's emergency oxygen system

By Bernard Choi

This video takes you inside ZA003, the third 787 Dreamliner, as Boeing flight test engineers conduct tests to validate the airplane's emergency oxygen system.

"We need to make sure that in the event that the cabin decompresses for some reason, there's oxygen available to all the passengers and the flight crew," said Boeing Flight Test director Tom Sanderson.
