Two Boeing-built KC-767A tanker-transports have entered into service with the Italian Air Force — a milestone Italian officials and Boeing recently celebrated at a ceremony near Rome. The other two KC-767As ordered by Italy are scheduled for delivery later this year. The new, advanced tanker can carry up to 161,000 pounds of fuel and has room for 200 passengers, 22 cargo pallets or a combination.
