Keeping the P-8 and its pilots mission-ready

Pilots and mission crew members operating the new P-8A Poseidon aircraft are mastering their skills on Boeing training technology at a new state-of-the-art training facility at Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Fla. The training center was dedicated during a ceremony on March 28.

The training facility includes a full-visual operational flight trainer that simulates the flight deck of the P-8A, as well as a weapons trainer for mission crew training. All of the technology prepares pilots and mission crew members to operate the best anti-surface and anti-submarine capabilities provided by the P-8A.

Watch the video above for more about the P-8 training facility and how Boeing is helping train the next generation of P-8A pilots and mission crew members.
