It was just about a year ago Boeing and All Nippon Airways made aviation history, when the Japanese carrier was the first airline to receive the all-new state of the art 787 Dreamliner.
Today ANA continues blazing trails with the 787. Last week, the airline became the first to provide 787 service out of the Dreamliner’s hometown of Seattle. A pleasant surprise to ANA Passenger, James MacFarlane, “It'll be one of those tickets that I keep to show my son someday.”
In fact, a recent passenger survey conducted by ANA show 9 out of 10 people feel the Dreamliner has met or exceeded their expectations.
Boeing recently announced ANA has placed an order for 11 more Dreamliners, bringing the total to 66. Which is promising news to 787 Vice President & General Mananger, Larry Loftis. “I believe (the order) is a strong statement for the long-term success of this airplane.”
