Mike Mesick is vice president of Ethics and Business Conduct, part of the Office of Internal Governance for The Boeing Company. Named to this position in June 2009, Mesick is responsible for leading the company's global ethics program, ensuring effective reporting and investigation processes for potential ethical misconduct, overseeing ethics education, training and awareness initiatives, and administering conflict of interest determinations.
Mesick is also responsible for advancing compliance with all ethics procedures, processes and related government regulations for standards of business conduct. In addition, Mesick serves on the OIG leadership team and as a member of the Compliance Risk Management Board, an enterprise oversight board responsible for assessing compliance risks and monitoring risk mitigation plans.
Previously, Mesick served as Program Management Office director for Commercial Aviation Services (CAS) business. As the chief administrative officer for Boeing's commercial jetliner support and services business, he managed the unit's commitment and compliance processes for technical customer support, material management and spare parts, modification and engineering services, flight services, subsidiary businesses and other services for more than 800 Boeing operators and 150 Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul businesses.
Prior to this, he served as the director of Program Management for BCA Group/Finance and Engineering respectively. In these assignments, his role was to manage commitments, business planning and business performance. Mesick has held several other key positions in Commercial Airplanes, including director of Quality for the 737 Program and Business Unit leader of the BCA Door Responsibility Center.
Mesick joined Boeing in 1987 after having served in the United States Army. He earned a bachelor's of science degree from the United States Military Academy. He is married and has two children. Mesick is located in the Chicago office.
