Recognition
2008 Awards:
- Boeing Commercial Airplanes received Innovation and Cost Savings Awards at the 2008 Applied Ergonomics Conference Ergo Cup Competition.
- Boeing's Ogden, Utah, site received the Safety Leadership and Million Work Hours Award from the National Safety Council.
- Boeing Defence Australia at the Harold E. Holt Naval Communication Station in Exmouth received a 2008 IFAP/CGU Gold Safe Way Achiever Award for Safety Management System excellence.
2007 Awards:
- Boeing's 767 Ergonomics Team won the People's Choice Award for Innovation at the 2007 Institute of Industrial Engineers Applied Ergonomics Conference.
- Boeing's Ogden, Utah, site received the Safety Leadership Award, Occupational Excellence Achievement Award and Million Work Hours Award from the National Safety Council.
- The National Safety Council also recognized Ogden, Utah, and Portland, Ore., sites with the National Safety Achievement Award.
- The National Safety Council awarded Boeing its Prestigious Member Recognition.
- Boeing's Kennedy Space Center site received the United Safety Council Gold 2007 Corporate Safety Achievement Award.
2006 Awards:
- The National Business Group on Health, a national non-profit organization, named Boeing one of the Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles.
- Boeing Kennedy Space Center received the Florida Safety Council Gold 2006 Corporate Safety Achievement Award.
2005 Awards:
- Local safety achievement awards were presented to many Boeing sites by regional safety councils. Among sites receiving awards in 2005 were Kennedy Space Center, FL; Canoga Park and Huntington Beach, CA; and Heath, OH.
2004 Awards:
- Corporate Safety Achievement Award to Boeing KSC site (Florida Safety Council).
