2008 Awards:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes received Innovation and Cost Savings Awards at the 2008 Applied Ergonomics Conference Ergo Cup Competition.
Boeing's Ogden, Utah, site received the Safety Leadership and Million Work Hours Award from the National Safety Council.
Boeing Defence Australia at the Harold E. Holt Naval Communication Station in Exmouth received a 2008 IFAP/CGU Gold Safe Way Achiever Award for Safety Management System excellence.

Boeing's 767 Ergonomics Team won the People's Choice Award for Innovation at the 2007 Institute of Industrial Engineers Applied Ergonomics Conference.
Boeing's Ogden, Utah, site received the Safety Leadership Award, Occupational Excellence Achievement Award and Million Work Hours Award from the National Safety Council.
The National Safety Council also recognized Ogden, Utah, and Portland, Ore., sites with the National Safety Achievement Award.
The National Safety Council awarded Boeing its Prestigious Member Recognition.
Boeing's Kennedy Space Center site received the United Safety Council Gold 2007 Corporate Safety Achievement Award.

The National Business Group on Health, a national non-profit organization, named Boeing one of the Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles.
Boeing Kennedy Space Center received the Florida Safety Council Gold 2006 Corporate Safety Achievement Award.

Local safety achievement awards were presented to many Boeing sites by regional safety councils. Among sites receiving awards in 2005 were Kennedy Space Center, FL; Canoga Park and Huntington Beach, CA; and Heath, OH.
