GS&S: On The Move -- People First, People Fit Activity Challenge begins today

Global Services & Support kicks off its third Activity Challenge today with the theme “On The Move: People First, People Fit.” The challenge will run for 10 weeks, ending Nov. 21.

This challenge is designed for employees to create a healthy lifestyle by completing 150 minutes of physical activity per week. It also encourages team-building and competition, with hundreds of prizes and recognition opportunities.

In order to be eligible for prize drawings, each team member must complete the 150 minutes of physical activity per week (Sunday-Saturday) for at least 9 of the 10 weeks during the challenge. Fifteen teams and five individuals who complete the challenge will be recognized with 100 Pride@Boeing. New this year: The top three teams with most minutes will also be recognized with 100 Pride@Boeing.

Site focals will be implemented to increase communication and maintain momentum at the site level. This is a great developmental opportunity; please email GRP GSS Physical Activity Challenges if you are interested in becoming a site focal.

"Fitness is another important element of our People First strategy. Studies have shown that healthier employees are more productive, and a healthy team is better able to deliver results for our customers. Investing in fitness is a great way to invest in our people, create a better work environment, and ultimately enhance the growth of our business." ~ Dennis Muilenburg
