EMARSS
Enhanced Medium Altitude Reconnaissance and Surveillance System (EMARSS) is a manned airborne multi-intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance system now in development by a Boeing-led industry team. EMARSS will provide the U.S. Army with a persistent capability to detect, locate, classify, identify and track surface targets in nearly all weather conditions, day or night, with a high degree of timeliness and accuracy. Boeing is building four Engineering, Manufacturing and Development EMARSS aircraft and has completed the first flight of an EMARSS Risk Reduction Prototype.
