Continuing a three-decade relationship with Boeing, Inmarsat, the leading provider of global mobile satellite communications services, ordered three 702HP spacecraft. This order represents a best-value solution that combines Boeing's unmatched commercial satellite heritage with our Ka-band satellite communications experience. New Ka-band global and high-capacity satellite services will enable mobile broadband communications for deep-sea vessels, in-flight connectivity for airline passengers including streaming high-resolution video, voice and data. Boeing also entered into a distribution partnership with Inmarsat to provide services to users within the U.S. government.
