Intelsat
Boeing was chosen by Intelsat, the leading provider of fixed satellite services worldwide, to build four new 702MP satellites for its global fleet. They feature C- and Ku-band capacity optimized to distribute video, network and voice services from Asia and Africa to the Americas and Europe. Two satellites will also carry UHF hosted payloads, and one will serve the Australian Defence Force. The new Intelsat satellites will incorporate low-risk, proven technologies based on the Boeing 702HP satellite.
