MEXSAT
Boeing is proud to be chosen to design and deliver the next-generation MEXSAT system to the government of Mexico, including two 702HP geomobile satellites; a satellite from Orbital Sciences Corporation for fixed satellite services; two ground stations; a spacecraft operations center; and ground-based beam-forming and communications network equipment. The MEXSAT system will add to the country’s current satellite fleet, providing the people of Mexico with support for disaster relief, emergency communications, telemedicine, rural education and government agency operations.
