F/A-18 Sustainment
Boeing supports the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corp and seven international customers fleet of 1,547 active aircraft through the F/A-18 Fleet Sustainment team. Boeing provides flexible, affordable sustainment solutions for Hornet, Super Hornet and Growler aircraft through integrated logistics support, efficient supply chain management, integrated information systems and in-service engineering. The innovative sustainment solutions offered by the program are proven to sustain readiness and reduce support costs. The program has provided the U.S. Navy with a cost avoidance of hundreds of millions of dollars for support of the Super Hornet fleet over its life cycle. Boeing also provides a Hornet Support Network of field service engineers who offer rapid, deployable field support alongside the fleet.
