The Boeing Apache program, together with hundreds of Team Apache suppliers, delivers unparalleled value to customers around the world. The commitment and performance of the people that are integral to each supplier organization is given to ensure that soldiers have the tool – the AH-64D Apache – to do the sometimes dirty and often dangerous jobs they’ve accepted in defense of freedom.

The Boeing Apache Program consistently delivers the world’s best combat helicopter to the US Army and to allied customers around the world. Key to successful, on-time and on-cost deliveries that meet and exceed customer requirements is the team of suppliers that develop and manufacture more than just the complex pieces and myriad parts that are assembled at Boeing in Mesa for warfighters around the world.

“The value that’s created through the people, processes and partnerships ensures that Boeing and Team Apache provide the best value for our customers,” said Greg Krekler, director of Apache Supplier Management. “It’s eye-opening to see the efforts of our diverse group of suppliers leveraging their customer knowledge and technical capabilities to produce the Apache helicopter.”

The network of Apache suppliers across the United States and in many countries around the world expertly develop and perfect technologies and efficiently produce the components that become today’s AH-64D Apache Longbow. And many suppliers have been associated with the program since production began on the AH-64A Apaches in the early 1980s.

As production at Boeing in Mesa, Ariz. continues for the next several years on today’s attack helicopters, Team Apache suppliers – many with long-standing program ties and some new to the effort – are gearing up in anticipation of the much anticipated AH-64D Apache Block III helicopters. Currently being demonstrated, tested and proven, the Apache Block III helicopter is ready to deliver new capabilities and technologies to U.S. Army aviators and commanders.

The dedicated Team Apache suppliers and the companies that provide significant portions of the helicopter direct to the U.S. government, continue to strive to expertly meet today’s production objectives and will lean forward to conquer the challenges ahead in anticipation of the U.S. Army’s first AH-64D Apache Block III helicopter in late 2011.
