Customer Requirements
Special equipment or software from Boeing is not required to use the My Boeing Configuration web site. All you need are:
- A computer workstation that has access to the Internet. A fast modem is beneficial, but not required.
- Any Web browser that can handle Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, forms, tables and the set-cookie header. Examples of browsers that meet these requirements are Netscape Navigator v4.5 or newer and Microsoft Internet Explorer v4.0 or newer. Our web site is best viewed at 800x600 resolution.
- A World Wide Web connection to the Internet.
- Some information may be in PDF format and will require that you have a "plug-in" in order to view it.
- A secure user account.
To download the required software, you may visit these web sites:
- Microsoft Downloads (for MS Internet Explorer)
- Netscape Downloads(for Netscape Navigator/Communicator)
- Adobe Acrobat Reader (to view PDF documents)
We recommend the 128 bit high encryption browser. Some applications available through this portal will only function with this level of security.
