| Manikin Display Types |
The
Enfleshed
(type 0) manikin is fully enfleshed with a 24 Link flexible human spine
model with dynamic enfleshment for spine, neck and shoulders.
The Space Suited/EVA (type 1) manikin is clothed in a NASA Space
Suit. Joint limits are modified to model the restrained motion of the astronaut.
The Stick/Link (type 2) manikin is represented by a single line
for each link in the BHMS manikin link structure. This type is useful when
display speed is important and collision detection is not required. This
display type includes the 24 link flexible human spine model.
The User Defined (type 3) manikin allows users to supply custom
manikin parts such as heads with helmets, or specialized clothing and shoes.
This display type includes the 24 link flexible human spine model with
dynamic enfleshment for spine, neck and shoulders.
