Overview
Comprising nearly 3,000 employees nationwide, Strategic Missile and Defense Systems is developing several advanced missile defense systems and integrated missile solutions. Key programs include the Ground-based Midcourse Defense system, as well as Arrow and ICBM. Cutting edge directed energy systems, including the Airborne Laser Test Bed and the Free Electron Laser, are further advancing our ability to respond to threats.
