BCA 2013 Highlights

2013 was a year to remember at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Boeing set a company record for the most commercial airplanes delivered in a single year with an astounding 648. The company also booked 1,355 net commercial orders in 2013, the second-largest number in company history. In fact, three programs set records for deliveries in a single year: the 737 program delivered 440 airplanes, the 777 program delivered 98 airplanes and the 787 program delivered 65 Dreamliners.

Other significant milestones in 2013 include the rollout and first flight of the 787-9, reaching firm configuration on the 737 MAX, employees company-wide making “The Safety Promise” to ensure their own safety and the safety of their co-workers, and the highly successful launch of the much-anticipated 777X.
