Puneet Loona, a visual modeler for Boeing Phantom Works in Bangalore, India, works with Phantom Works systems engineer Ashwini J S to develop a visual model at Boeing’s Strategic Development and Experimentation Center.

Boeing has had a presence in India since the 1940s, beginning with commercial airplanes. In the past five years that presence has grown to include Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T) and Boeing Phantom Works.

BR&T employees work with the Indian government and university technologists on analysis, software development, and materials and processes. Phantom Works has a small team of employees who run its Analysis and Experimentation Center that supports Boeing’s Indian defense customers.

Phantom Works and BR&T are on the same floor in the same building in the heart of India’s technology center- the city of Bangalore.
