Joy Arview is the Director of Ethics and Business Conduct for Boeing Defense, Space & Security. In this role, Arview is responsible for BDS' global ethics program, ensuring appropriate deployment of ethics programs and initiatives throughout the business while promoting a compliant ethical culture that optimizes performance and enables strong partnerships. She works across the organization to lead BDS efforts in engaging employees to communicate openly and collaboratively in identifying and resolving issues; this includes integrating Boeing values in all aspects of the work environment. She also is a member of BDS and enterprise Ethics leadership teams and reports jointly to Ellen Martin, vice president of Ethics and Business Conduct for The Boeing Company; and Dennis Muilenburg, BDS president & CEO. In addition, Arview will serve on the BDS Compliance Review Board and co-chair the BDS Compliance Assessment Team.
Prior to her current position, Arview served as the Network and Tactical Systems Director of Acquire as well as Finance Director of Brigade Combat Team Modernization (BCTM). In this position, she was responsible for contracts and pricing, estimating and procurement financial analysis on BCTM, Family of Advanced Beyond Line-of-Sight Terminal, Combat Survivor Evader Locator, Ground Mobile Radios and Wideband Communications and RF Systems programs. Her role for BCTM Finance included execution responsibilities for Business Operations, Financial Controls, Financial Planning and Scheduling for BCTM Engineering Manufacturing Development termination and Low Rate Initial Production. Arview's responsibilities across the division included emerging new business competitive international campaigns with United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
Since joining the company in 1981 on the Harpoon program, Arview has held a number of increasingly responsible positions including assignments supporting the F-15 and C-17 programs and Phantom Works; as a Contracts and Pricing senior manager, supporting Weapons; Business Manager; as the Director of Business Management for Learning, Training and Development; and as the Site Functional Director for Acquire in St. Louis and Huntington Beach.
Arview holds a Bachelor of Science Degree and Master's Degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville.
