Cabin Safety Training
Supporting cabin crews worldwide
Boeing provides training for flight and cabin crew members through a comprehensive program including computer-based instruction, airplane visits, and door training.
The cabin crew portion is designed for fully-qualified flight attendants transitioning to a new airplane type. The two-day course includes instruction on airplane familiarization; lighting and communications; water, waste, and lavatories; doors, slides, evacuation systems, and ditching; and special features including galleys, in-flight entertainment, emergency equipment, and crew rest areas. During the door training session, all crew members, including pilots, are required to learn how to operate the doors under normal and emergency scenarios.
