Future Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing Simulation Lab
The Advanced Analysis & Simulation team provides executable and timely high impact decision scenarios to Boeing business and external entities. Various advanced simulation modeling, statistical, design of experiments, six sigma, and Lean+ methods are exercised on a regular basis as part of the team's decision analysis support to customers. The team's capabilities in a wide array of technologies enable and enhance customers to improve new airplane design, achieve more efficient integrated production systems, foresee potential opportunities and bottlenecks, correlate group of processes from multi-streams of stochastic business and production activities, manage logistics of fleets and warehouses more efficiently, and visualize production situations more vividly, to enable better decision analysis across an enterprise.
The BR&T Advanced Analysis and Simulation team interacts with leading researchers and practitioners world-wide and practices discrete event simulation modeling, advanced statistical methods, three-dimensional computer-aided-design and engineering, real life rendering, operations research, advanced object oriented programming in information technology, and six sigma Lean+ variation reduction methodologies to support critical business decisions.
