Boxing Club

Too many hours of overtime getting you down...? Stairmaster just ain't cuttin' it...? Try a boxing workout. If your idea of exercise is climbing imaginary stairs while reading the newspaper and watching the stock quotes plummet on CNBC, boxing probably isn't for you. If, however, you're looking for something different and challenging (yes...you will appear uncoordinated for a bit of time before it sinks in), then boxing can provide a maximum workout, and better yet, you won't need to step into the ring with the heavy hitters and lose some of those precious brain-cells or risk your bridgework to reap the benefits. The Boeing Boxing Club (BBC) offers 3 training options to our members: Open Gym, Boxing classes, and Personal 1-on-1 training...with or without sparring. Whatever you need to get rid of those extra calories or lower that blood pressure from a day of heavy designing on CATIA. To see what we're doing in PHL, please contact Mike Warburton (610-591-6958), Vince Marchese (610-591-9289) or visit our website @ http://boeingboxing.org

Golf Club

The Legendary Golf Club was formed in 2006 and is recognized as an official club by the United States Golf Association (USGA). Our Club is currently divided into two separate Divisions - a Touring Division and Home Division. The Touring division plays out of several different courses in the tri-state area while the Home division plays out of the Rock Manor Golf Club located in Wilmington Del.. Each year, We celebrate the our end of season with a Tournament and competition between competing Leagues while offering open invitation to anyone interested in joining us for the day of competition which includes a banquet and prizes.

The main emphasis of our club is to promote camaraderie and the spirit of the game of golf. Members can play as little or as much as they want to. We encourage individuals to mix within groups on a weekly basis so everyone can have the opportunity to play with all our members. Our scoring format utilizes the STABLEFORD scoring system which provides points based upon your handicap for the whole season (similar to the Fed-Ex cup). Every member is eligible for election to the Board along with opportunity to participate in Multiple Committee positions. Decisions concerning all aspects of our Club are determined by the voting process in which all active members are eligible.
