Join the Joint Employee's Martial Arts Club for Fun and Personal Growth! The Boeing/Hughes/Raytheon Employee's Martial Arts Club provides training in traditional martial arts technique, with an emphasis on personal growth. Students improve physical fitness, achieve mental alertness, reduce stress and gain a positive attitude. Classes consist of stretching, body conditioning, and self-defense techniques such as kicking, blocking, striking, and grappling. Our program is designed for all levels of athleticism and martial arts experience. The training encourages teamwork and personal responsibility in a safe, disciplined and respectful environment. Our training is appropriate for the age of the student and includes limited, controlled physical contact. Club members receive affordable instruction from an internationally certified 6th degree black belt. Classes are held, 5:30-7:00 PM, Mondays through Thursdays, at the BSS Employee Clubhouse (Bldg. S30). Additional classes are available, 6:30-7:30 PM, Wednesdays and Fridays; and 10 AM-noon, Saturdays, at the La Palma Community Center (Orange County). Employees and family members, 10 years and older, are welcome.
