To locate and make an appointment with a counselor, contact ValueOptions, our EAP provider. At many locations, appointments are available with either onsite or offsite counselors. Value Options will help you get an appointment that is convenient for you.
What to do:
You or your eligible family members can call ValueOptions 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When you call, an EAP representative will refer you to a local onsite or offsite EAP counselor, who will schedule an interview with you within 72 hours of your request (in the case of an emergency, counselors will be available immediately).

What to Expect :
The counselor will spend from one to six sessions working with you to address your problem. If you require additional counseling, self-help resources, or specialized counseling, the counselor will provide you with referrals for the follow-up assistance you need.
If at any time during your treatment the counselor determines that your issue cannot be resolved within six sessions, the counselor will refer you to another provider whose services will not be covered under the EAP benefit. Those services could be covered by your medical plan, if applicable, but are not a part of this Plan. You decide whether to use the other provider's services.
