The U.S. Army, Army Reserve and Army National Guard operate CH-47D Chinooks around the world -- in every climate and condition -- to perform a broad number of military, nation-building and humanitarian missions. Modernization to the improved CH-47F-model standard is under way, ensuring that Chinooks will remain in U.S. Army service until at least the mid-2030s.
