US Naval Aviation Museum Tours
The National Naval Aviation Museum is the world's largest Naval Aviation museum and one of the most visited museums in the state of Florida. Share the excitement of Naval Aviation's rich history and see more than 150 beautifully restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Aviation. These historic and one-of-a-kind aircraft are displayed both inside the Museum's nearly 300,000 square feet of exhibit space and outside on its 37-acre grounds. The museum is open for visitors from 9am to 5pm, and regular shuttle service from the Crowne Plaza Pensacola Grand to the museum will be provided. Welcome Reception (1800 – 2100)
Crowne Plaza Pensacola Grand
Hosted by the Kuwait Air Force and Hornet Industry Team, the welcome reception will be held in the Grand Central Station suite, located on the second floor at the Crowne Plaza Pensacola Grand. The welcome reception is the official commencement of the 2013 Hornet International Conference and gives you the opportunity to relax and get to know your hosts and conference participants. Attire: casual or resort wear.
Tuesday, 4 June
Join us for dinner hosted by the Kuwait Air Force and Hornet Industry Team. Transportation details will be provided by conference staff upon arrival. Attire: civilian attire, business casual.
Join your hosts nightly for after dinner conversations at the Naval Aviation themed Cavu Club located on the first floor of the hotel. Meet with old friends and new acquaintances, or try your hand at carrier landings or air combat in the F/A-18 Super Hornet Flight Simulator.
