I was a member of an Air Force Reserve Squadron responsible for turn-around of military aircraft on their way to other places. In our squadron were a lot of Boeing employees.
What seemed interesting to me was the change in functions between their time at Boeing and their time with our squadron. Many supervisors were enlisted, and hourly workers were officers. A few worked with one another at both locations.
I remember holiday parties sponsored by supervisors that included a circus from Wenatchee schools, the IBM building that will now fit in a laptop ... on and on and on.
