After transferring to Everett, Wash., from Boeing Wichita in 1967, I was an industrial engineering employee on the No.1 747 working in methods and later in material. My immediate family's combined experience totals over 150 years at Boeing and includes the time that my spouse of 53 years worked as a secretary at the company.
Many years later, we are still Boeing supporters within our shot-peening company in Mukilteo. Our company, though small, is approaching our 30th year of business. Boeing parts contribute to 95 percent of our sales and we support every airplane program.
I am still involved with the company at 75 years of age and wish to thank all of my former associates for many great years of experiences, including driving in on Casino Road with no freeway and watching the Everett facility grow from one bay into what it is now.
Thank you, Boeing.
