My father was always interested in aircraft during his tour in Germany with the U.S. Army. He would drive out to the end of the runways in Frankfurt and park to watch the takeoffs and landings. My brother and I would sit with him each week, and I fell in love with them at an early age.
After high school I joined the U.S. Air Force and found myself maintaining Boeing's older aircraft still flying to this day, 50-year-old KC-135s and 25-year-old E-3 AWACS aircraft.
After retirement I applied for a position with The Boeing Company working on 787 production. I am very happy to be a part of such a great and historical company. Let's all make the next 100 years as great as the first!
