Sold! -- on Aviation
By Carlos Alberto Spadaro
June 2016
I am the son of Agatino Spadaro, former chief maintenance manager of Aerolineas Argentinas. Working for Aerolineas from 1950 to 1989, he was the representative in charge of purchasing a beautiful Boeing 737-200 LV-JNE in 1970.
I was 7 at the time, and it was a beautiful experience. My mom, brother, sister and I flew with my dad to Seattle and enjoyed every minute; the top photo is my younger brother and I at the factory. Boeing's president at the time gave my father the key in the bottom photo.
Even though I am a 52-year-old lawyer and have nothing to do with the aviation business, I still have that love for aviation in my blood.
