Boeing

Showin' and Talon

October 2016

I just graduated from the Euro Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training program, effectively completing Air Force Undergraduate Pilot Training. My first assignment will be as a FAIP (first assignment instructor pilot) in the T-38C Talon. It never ceases to amaze me that an aircraft designed so many years ago has arguably the best avionics package in the Air Force -- provided by Boeing. I love flying the jet and can't wait to spend the next three years of my life racking up as many hours as possible in flight!

I graduated from the University of Colorado in 2012 with a degree in astronomy and planetary sciences. I was lucky enough to work on the Juno program, which uses solar cells from a Boeing subsidiary. I guess you could say all the folks at Boeing and I are colleagues in that we've worked indirectly with one another for the last six years and will continue to do so as my Air Force career continues. Can't wait to see what innovations you guys and gals come up with next. Hopefully it's an awesome jet that I get to fly!
