Boeing Spotlights 7E7 Dreamliner Family

Return to News Release

FARNBOROUGH, United Kingdom, July 19, 2004 -- Boeing's family of 7E7 Dreamliners is meeting with wide acceptance from customers around the world. The 7E7-8 Dreamliner (center) will bring the range, speed and comfort of larger jets to the middle of the market with its first deliveries in 2008. An optimized version of the airplane, the 7E7-3 Dreamliner (top), will also be delivered in 2008. The 7E7-3 includes a winglets and internal structural modifications for use on routes of 3,500 nautical miles (6,500 kilometers). As the family matures, the 7E7-9 Dreamliner (bottom) will be offered, likely in 2012, to provide room for an additional 40 passengers as compared to the 7E7-8.
