ATS Data Link
Mission: To provide a high level economic analysis of the value of equipping
with an advanced data link to support ATS and AOC applications.
Group Chairs: Russ Chew (American Airlines), and Dave Jones
(United Airlines).
Group Director: Kathleen Pirotte (Boeing Company).
The work of the ATS Data Link Focus Group has
been completed! (A new European Data Link
Focus Group has been formed.) Now that the primary report and databases
have been produced, the ATS Data Link Focus Group has entered a 'dormant' mode
until such time as new initiatives may require a reactivation of the group. The
final version of the U.S.
Data Link Investment Analysis report is now available in either
Word or PDF format.
Also available are the database models which formed the sensitivity analysis for
the report. To examine the databases in Microsoft Excel, please select from the
spreadsheet options below. There is also a 'readme' text file that explains the
development and use of the models, and a Powerpoint presentation.
Want some help in understanding the Influence Diagrams and "Tornado"
Diagrams in the report? Read Interpreting
Business Analysis Results.
Minutes of all ATS Data Link Focus Group Meetings and
Telecons are to be found here.
