The Group's work has been completed! With the publication of the final report (see below) on airline metric concepts, the group has completed the work it was chartered to perform. You may read the minutes of the Final Meeting of the ATS Performance Focus Group that was held in Seattle on March 29-30, 1999. This page will remain to provide links to the information generated by the group, but no fresh material will be posted. Another focus group is forming that will consider cost accounting principles for air traffic service providers. Air Carrier Departure Data is a new audit report by the US Dept. of Transportation Inspector General. It discusses the variations in the airlines' methods of collecting data, and charts the increases in gate-to-gate times at a number of US airports.
