Boeing South Carolina
Boeing South Carolina fabricates, assembles and installs systems for aft (rear) fuselage sections of the 787 Dreamliner and joins and integrates midbody sections from other partners.
The 240-acre (97-hectare) facility is located in North Charleston The site also will be home to the second 787 Dreamliner final assembly and delivery facility, which is under construction and will begin operations in July 2011.
