Boeing, Ryanair Celebrate Delivery of Next-Gen 737 with New Paint Design

SEATTLE, Oct. 01, 2004 -- Ryanair Chief Executive Michael O'Leary today in Seattle took delivery from Boeing [NYSE:BA] of two Next-Generation 737-800 airplanes, one with Boeing's distinctive blue commercial airplanes paint design. A reflection of the second airplane is visible in this image.

Ryanair will use the blue airplane to launch new service routes from its new London Luton base. As one of the world's leading low-cost airlines, Ryanair flies only Boeing 737s.
