Boeing, Shenzhen, Relief Agencies Deliver Supplies for China Earthquake Effort

SEATTLE, May 24, 2008 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE:BA], Shenzhen Airlines, Medical Teams International, and Mercy Corps are delivering nearly three tons (U.S.) of medical supplies for victims of the recent China earthquake in an effort called "Flight of Hope." Boeing employees loaded nearly three tons of medical supplies into Shenzhen Airlines' new 737-800 after it was delivered at Boeing Field in Seattle Friday. The plane took off Saturday morning and delivery in China is expected within approximately three days.
