Statement From the Family of Ricky Wilson

SEATTLE, Feb. 27, 2009 -- The family of Boeing employee Ricky Wilson, who died this week in the crash of Turkish Airlines Flight 1951, asked the company to issue the following statement to the greater Seattle and Boeing communities:

"On behalf of myself and my family, I would like to thank you for your best wishes and prayers for Ricky. We appreciate the continuation of those prayers, not only for my husband and our family, but also his Boeing colleagues. At this time, my family and I are requesting privacy from the media so our family and friends can grieve Ricky's death. Thank you.
