Statement from the Family of John Salman
SEATTLE, March 01, 2009 -- The family of Boeing employee John Salman, who died this week in the crash of Turkish Airlines Flight 1951, asked the company to issue the following statement to the greater Seattle and Boeing communities:
"I would like to share my appreciation to Boeing for its support of me and my family throughout this most difficult time. It also has been a great comfort to know that many in Seattle, Amsterdam, Ankara and elsewhere are remembering us in their prayers. My family and friends request privacy from the media at this time as we work through these difficult days.
