NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES
1. Noise abatement procedures apply to aircraft over 12,500 lbs. and all turboprop and turbojet aircraft.

2. IFR aircraft subject to noise abatement shall fly runway heading to 2000 ft before being issued a turn on course.

3. VFR aircraft subject to noise abatement shall fly runway heading to 1500 ft before being issued a turn on course.

4. Departure Control has authority to turn turboprop aircraft when three miles off the departure end of the runway, regardless of altitude.

5. Turbojet aircraft that remain in the instrument pattern shall, the the extent feasible, maintain an altitude of 3000 ft or above.

6. Unless prior permission is received from Airport Operations, no training flights will be permitted between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am daily.

7. Right traffic to Runway 13 should be minimized due to the Hamilton Walk area. Runway 13 Visual Approaches for traffic from the SAR/Final Vector sectors shall be kept outside Hamilton Walk area. This pertains to all aircraft over 12,500 lbs. Repetitious right traffic is not authorized at all.
