NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES
| Takeoff/Climb Procedures:
24 hours a day the following procedures will be applicable.
1. Jet aircraft should apply the takeoff/climb noise abatement
procedures that are already in the aircraft flight manual when
taking off on runways 23L/R. The usage of this procedure is
optional when taking off on runways 5L/R.
2. Aircraft without noise abatement takeoff procedures should
notify ATC on ground control frequency.
The observance of these procedures will not exempt any pilot from
complying with any other applicable instructions.

PREFERENTIAL RUNWAYS
| Between 2300-0700, jet aircraft traffic will be limited over
the urban area of Mexico City according to the following procedures:
a) Departures on runways 23L/R.
The Estrella departure will be utilized or vectors to the left
unless meteorological conditions prevent it, in which case the
San Mateo Departure or vectors to the North East could be used.
b) Arrivals on runways 5L/R. The
Coapa arrival or Wiskey arrival will be utilized or vectors
to the right unless meteorological conditions prevent it. In
which case the San Mateo Arrival or vectors to the left could
be used.
Note: Arrivals runways 23L/R, Departures runways 5L/R. The routes
and procedures published and the associated vector procedures
can be utilized without restrictions. |
