NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES
Except for safety reasons, the helicopters will avoid overflying the local communities
of Erandio, Sondika, Loiu, Zamudio and Derio when accomplishing the aerodrome traffic circuit. Likewise, these areas must be avoided when circling in holding patterns or communication failure to the south of the airfield. In this phase of the flight, the height to be maintained shall not be lower than 1,000 feet above the airfield´s elevation.
Highly noisy helicopters (type Bell 212 or higher), will avoid the use of the aerodrome traffic circuit of runway 10/28 for training purposes, and use it solely
for landing. |
