Since March 21, 2003 the airport has a LOC/DME (CMD) for landings on runway 35 and a LOCATOR (CSC) for missed approach. And the altitude for the visual approach is now 1800' (ISO 1500'). Runway circuit remains at 1500'.

NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES

1. Multi-engine aircraft must perform traffic pattern at 1500 ft and maintain 1500 ft until the interception of the runway axis.

2. Except for emergency, reverse thrust is prohibited.

3. In runway circuit according to operational conditions, comply with configuration and rate available for low noise procedure.

4. After take-off Runway 17, maintain slope up MAX and do not turn before 800 ft climbing to the right or 500 ft climbing to the left.

5. At night:

- traffic pattern at 1500 ft for all aircraft
- turn at minimum 1000 ft climbing.

6. Runway 05/23

- turn as soon as possible towards the sea

A draft bill was approved by the French Parliament (July 1st) that will set up an independent group call the "Authorite de Control des Nusiances Sonores Aeroportuaires" to monitor noise levels at French airports and will be allowed to impose fines of up to FF 80,000 ($13,000) on airlines and FF 10,000 on pilots that disregard noise abatement procedures on take-off, landing or engine run-ups. This group is set to be and operating by fall 1999. The new law also restricts helicopter operations over over populated areas.
