| Airport attended dawn-dusk. Fuel available after dusk PPR 208-788-9511.
Bird activity SE end Rwy 31. Recommend that all pilots familiarize
themselves and comply with Noise Abatement Procedures. When twr
closed land Rwy 31, take-off Rwy 13. Due to opposite direction traffic,
use landing lights in traffic pattern. Rwy 31 arriving aircraft
follow east side of valley. Rwy 31 departures are made over populated
area, into rapidly rising terrain in N., E., and W. quadrants. Strong,
variable canyon-generated winds within 1 mile North. Rwy 13 departing
aircraft follow west side of valley. Area is very noise sensitive.
Recommended that aircraft greater than 12,500lbs not take-off or
arrive from the north, as per Noise Abatement Procedures. Airport
has noise abatement procedures. Contact the Airport Manager (208)
788 4956 or (208) 720 5186 for noise abatement procedures. Not recommended
for night use or in marginal weather by unfamiliar pilots due to
mountainous terrain. PPR for all unscheduled aircraft operations
with more than 30 seats. PPR for all scheduled air carriers operations
between 0600-1300Z - call airport manager. The west ramp N of twy
B-4 and past the maintenance building available only to aircraft
12,500 or less. Activate MIRL Rwy 13-31-CTAF. Landing fee for aircraft
greater than 6,000 lbs. |
