All aircraft operators avoid overflight of residential area 1/2 miles
southwest of control tower. All runways noise sensitive and monitored 24
hours a day. All quadrants are noise sensitive.

IN EFFECT BETWEEN 0700-2200 (local)

A. Northwest Bound Departures on Runway 8:

1. Turn left 330 degrees 3/4 mile east (over I-95)
2. Use minimum safe climb power settings

B. East Bound Departures on Runway 8:

1. Use minimum safe climb power settings
2. Avoid adding power until West of the coastline

C. Runway 26 Departures:

1. Maintain Runway heading until 1/2 mile west of the Airport.

In 1991, the airport installed a Noise Monitoring System. The system provides information on noise levels, aircraft types, altitudes and flight tracks. The information collected is used to monitor the status of noise abatement procedures and to develop new ones.

To help minimize noise in the community, several measures are currently in place:

EXECUTIVE AIRPORT NOISE ABATEMENT PROGRAM:

In 1991, the airport installed a Noise Monitoring System. The system provides information on noise levels, aircraft types, altitudes and flight tracks. The information collected is used to monitor the status of noise abatement procedures and to develop new ones.

To help minimize noise in the community, several measures are currently in place:

1. Full-time Noise Abatement office staff
2. 24-Hour Noise Abatement Hotline (954) 828-6666
3. Six permanent noise monitors and an operations monitoring system
4. Pilot Education Program
5. Airfield noise abatement advisory signs
6. Noise abatement brochures for Pilots with Noise Abatement diagrams
7. Runway 8 jet departures are to turn left over I-95 for all north and west bound jets 24 hours a day and for east and southbound jets between 2300 and 0700 local.
8. Voluntary restriction of jet use on Runway 13/31
9. Nighttime preferential runways are Runway 26 for takeoffs and Runway 8 for landings for all aircraft
10. Voluntary restriction of nighttime and weekend touch-and-goes and practice approach operations
11. No turns until 1/2 mile west for Runway 26 takeoffs.
12. Prohibit maintenance run-ups between the hours of 1900 - 0700 local.
13. Voluntary use of turbojet noise abatement departure and arrival profiles.
