NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES
| Over
flying the urban nucleus should be avoided as far as possible.
General
1. The following restrictions will be only applicable to jets.
2. Except for safety reasons, all those aircraft must follow the
noise abatement procedures as indicated as follows:
Take-off
1. Aircraft taking off from Runway 01L/R must follow the normal
flight path of the SID in use, not turning left before over flying
point SUGAS.
2. Aircraft taking off from Runway 9L/R must follow the normal
flight path of the SID in use, not turning right before 5.00 DME
FTV.
Landing
1. Visual approach procedures and/or contracting Runway 01L/R
will intercept the final approach segment at more than 5.00 DME
FTV.
2. Landing and approach procedures on visual meteorological conditions
will be preformed with an angle equal to or higher than the ILS
GP or PAPI of each runway.

| Ground Engine Testing
Engine performance testing higher than idle regime may be conducted
from sunrise to sunset at the engine testing area established
for this purpose, usually the holding bay in the vicinity of runway
19L threshold, while subject to TWR instructions.
This task must be accomplished in accordance with the local procedure
PE@00005: "Engine Testing".
