NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES
| Pilots can assist in reduction of aircraft noise generated
in the vicinity of the Airport by compliance with the following:
- during take-off and landing, a rate of climb which provides
maximum altitude over residential areas established beneath
the runway centerline and the circuit area should be adopted
- repetitive formation circuits are not permitted
- repetitive low-level circuits are not permitted on Runway
06L/24R
- during the conduct of circuit operations, the size of the
circuit flown should be kept as compact as practicabled
While pilots are urged to consider the impact of aircraft noise,
this in no way should be the basis of any action which could compromise
safety. |
