NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES
The only subsonic jet airplanes that are permitted to land and
take-off from airports in Austria are those that meet Chapter 3
noise limits. Pilots must carry a noise certificate on board (may
be a remark in the certificate of airworthiness) and shown to the
Austrian Civil Aviation Authorities on demand.
ATC is entitled to deny take-off or landing clearance to airplanes
that violate the Chapter 3 requirement and violators will be punished
by the competent Austrian authorities. |
